ROADGRID is the name of a series of geogrids designed for asphalt pavements reinforcement. ROADGRID Series are available both in polyester or in glass fiber:
Cracks on asphalt roads are known and represent a general and common problem. They are mainly due to excessive trafic load, thermal shocks, and water infiltration. ROADGRID installation delays the cracks appearing and therefore lowers the maintenance costs while it is highly encreasing the road surface life span. ROADGRIDS are used not only to reinforce the road surface but also to encrease the road loadability.
APPLICATIONS
In specific ROADGRID Series are used for:
- REPAVING of road surfaces having widespread cracks
- ENLARGEMENT of road bases
- REINFORCEMENT of roads subject to heavy load
- FLOORING of airport runways
